Deviled Crabs Plain
Deviled Crabs Plain is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. milk, soft white bread crumbs, 1 lb. white crab meat, 2 tbsp. lemon juice and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat milk and stir in enough soft white bread crumbs to make a fairly thick sauce.
Add 1/2 stick butter, salt and pepper to taste and lemon juice.
Add crab meat.
Melt 1/2 stick of butter and stir in dry crumbs.
Fill shells with crab mixture and sprinkle with buttered crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° for about 20 minutes.
