Devil's Food Cake
Devil'S Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3/4 c. brown sugar (packed), 1/2 c. soft butter, 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and 3 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream sugar and butter.
Add melted chocolate.
Beat yolks. Add water and vanilla; blend.
Gradually add yolk mixture to chocolate mixture and beat until light and fluffy.
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
Alternately add flour mixture and milk, blending well after each addition.
Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
Fold in batter.
Turn into greased and floured 9-inch cake pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
