Devil's Eyes(PB Cookies)
Devil'S Eyes(Pb Cookies) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. crisco or margarine, 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter, 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine oleo, peanut butter and sugar; beat until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Press center of each ball with thumb.
Bake at 375Β° for 7 minutes. Press candy star into center of each cookie; continue baking 2 to 3 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Cool on rack.
