Devil Dogs
Devil Dogs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. crisco, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. sour milk and 1 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs.
Beat well.
Add sour milk and boiling water all at once.
(Mixture will be watery.)
Sift dry ingredients, including cocoa.
Add all at once to mixture.
Mix well.
Drop by tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 475Β° for about 5 minutes or until done.
Remove from cookie sheet immediately and let cool.
Put flat sides together with filling.
