Deluxe Pound Cake
Deluxe Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. plain flour, 2 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 c. butter flavored crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Let all ingredients come to room temperature.
Sift dry ingredients together 3 times.
Beat shortening and margarine until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add extract.
Now alternately add dry ingredients and milk, ending with dry ingredients.
Bake at 325Β° in a tube pan 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 15 minutes.
Turn out and enjoy.
