Deluxe Chocolate Cream Pie
Deluxe Chocolate Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, 1/2 c. soft butter, 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled, 1 tsp. vanilla or vanilla extract and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine butter, sugar, chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Spread this mixture into the baked pie shell (could use graham cracker crumb pie shell), baked is better.
Prepare pudding mix and use only the amount of 1 3/4 cups total.
Add extract (rum, if you wish). Spread this on top of chocolate mixture.
Chill.
Whip the cream until soft and fluffy.
Spread on top of pie.
