Delmonico Potatoes
Delmonico Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled and cubed, 2 cans mushroom or celery soup, 2 cups milk or evaporated milk, salt and pepper to taste and 1 onion, chopped, sauteed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place potatoes in casserole dish.
Mix soup and milk until smooth.
Add salt, pepper, onion and 1 c. cheese.
Add to potatoes. On top, place remaining cheese, bacon bits and bread crumbs.
