Deep-Dish Pizza
Deep-Dish Pizza is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. bisquick, 1/2 c. cold water, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a large bowl, mix Bisquick and water until soft dough forms.
Beat vigorously for 20 strokes.
Form dough into ball on floured board and knead 20 times.
Pat dough into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan and up the sides to form an edge.
Cook and stir ground beef and onion until browned; drain.
Spread tomato sauce over dough.
Sprinkle with oregano.
Spoon ground beef over sauce. Add mushrooms and other toppings of your choice.
Top with cheese last.
Bake at 425Β° until crust is golden brown (approximately 20 minutes); keep a close eye on pizza after first 10 minutes of baking to avoid burning!
(Depending on toppings chosen and individual oven idiosyncrasies, you may find that a slightly lower baking temperature will work better for you.)
