Deep-Dish Fruit Cobbler
Deep-Dish Fruit Cobbler is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sliced peaches or blackberries, 1-1/2 c. granulated sugar, divided, 6 tbsp. butter, 3/4 c. self-rising flour and 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In bowl mix prepared fruit with 1 cup sugar, set aside.
Place butter in a 2-quart baking dish; place in oven until butter melts.
Remove from oven, set aside.
Meanwhile in a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar with flour and milk.
Pour batter over melted butter in baking dish, do not stir.
Spoon prepared fruit over top of batter.
Bake uncovered for 50-60 minutes.
Batter will rise to the top, brown and crisp.
