Dee's Carrot Cake
Dee'S Carrot Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted flour (all-purpose), 2 c. sugar, 1 oz. sweet german chocolate, grated, 2 tsp. ground cinnamon and 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine flour, sugar, chocolate, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and baking powder.
Add pineapple syrup, eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well at medium speed for 3 minutes.
Add pineapple, carrots, pecans and coconut, if desired.
Pour batter into buttered and floured tube pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 75 to 90 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Frost with a cream cheese frosting.
