Dawn's Fudge
Dawn'S Fudge is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with c. hershey's cocoa, c. sugar, . salt, c. milk and c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Lightly grease 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Combine dry ingredients in heavy 4-quart saucepan.
Stir in milk; bring to full (bubbly) boil over medium heat without stirring to 234° (soft ball stage). Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Do not stir.
Cool at room temperature to 110°.
(Pan should be barely warm to touch.) Beat with wooden spoon until fudge thickens and loses its gloss. Quickly spread in pan.
Cool, then cut.
