Dave's Gooey Butter Cake
Dave'S Gooey Butter Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box betty crocker french vanilla cake mix, 1 stick oleo, softened, 1 egg, beaten, 2 tsp. vanilla and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix the cake mix, butter and 1 egg.
Spray or grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Press mixture into bottom of pan.
Set aside.
Beat remaining ingredients 6 minutes and pour over the cake mixture in the pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 30 to 50 minutes, depending on oven and area.
Immediately upon removing from oven sprinkle with powdered sugar.
This may be served cold or warm.
Rich, but delicious.
