Date Pudding Ii is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dates, chopped fine, 1 c. hot water, 1 tsp. soda, 1 c. sugar and 1 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Pour hot water over dates and soda.
Dissolve and let set until cool. Mix the remainder of ingredients, then add date mixture.
Put in a 9 x 9-inch pan and bake.
