Date Nut Bread
Date Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (1 lb.) pkg. chopped dates, 2 tsp. soda, 2 c. boiling water, 3 1/2 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine dates, soda and water; cool.
Cream margarine and add sugar gradually.
Sift flour and salt together.
Add eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture.
Blend in flour mixture.
Add in date mixture and nuts; mix well and pour into greased loaf pans.
Bake for 1 hour at 325Β°.
