Date-Nut Bread
Date-Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. melted butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 c. cut up dates and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Pour 1 cup boiling water over dates.
Stir in soda to remaining 1/2 cup water.
Mix soda water, dates and flour and nuts together.
Cream sugar, eggs, butter, salt and vanilla and add to previous ingredients.
Put in 2 greased loaf pans and bake at 325Β° for about 1 hour (check with toothpick in middle).
Take out of pans immediately.
Serve with cream cheese mixed with 1 tablespoon of raspberry jam as spread.
