Dark Chocolate Cake
Dark Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 2 c. white sugar, 1 c. cocoa, 2 tsp. baking soda and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan or Bundt pan.
Sift first 5 ingredients together in large mixing bowl.
Melt Crisco in 2 cups hot water.
Beat eggs in medium size bowl.
Continue to beat slowly while pouring liquid slowly into eggs.
Pour liquid through sieve into dry ingredients.
Add vanilla.
Mix until well blended.
Bake for approximately 45 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Frost with fluffy white icing.
Garnish with crushed peppermint stick (optional).
