Dandelion Wine
Dandelion Wine is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 16 minutes. Made with qt. blossoms (no stems), . sugar, c. lemon juice, gal. water and . raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Bring water to a boil, add sugar and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Put in blossoms, let stand until lukewarm.
Add yeast, dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
Let stand 7 days, stirring in the morning and night.
After 7 days, strain through cheesecloth. Add raisins and lemon juice, let stand 2 weeks.
Do not stir! Strain after 2 weeks and put in bottles.
Do not cap too tightly. Let stand for 3 weeks before drinking.
