Daisy's Yum Yum Salad
Daisy'S Yum Yum Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, juice of 1 lemon, 1/2 c. chopped nuts, 1 c. grated cheddar cheese and 1 (2 oz.) jar stuffed green olives, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Soak gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes.
Heat pineapple.
Add sugar and lemon juice.
Add soaked gelatin to hot mixture.
When cool and beginning to set, add cheese, whipped cream, olives and nuts.
Pour in a 9 x 13-inch pan and place in refrigerator to finish congealing.
