Custard Pie
Custard Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 1/2 c. milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Line a 9-inch pie plate with pie shell.
Brush with egg white to prevent soaking.
Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar and salt. Blend in milk, vanilla and butter.
Pour into shell; sprinkle on nutmeg.
Bake in very hot oven (450°) for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 25 minutes, or until knife comes out clean.
