Custard Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 2 cups milk, 1/3 cup sugar, 3 eggs, separated, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Scald milk.
Beat egg yolks slightly, add sugar and salt. Stir constantly while adding hot milk.
Beat egg whites to soft peaks and fold into milk mixture.
Put into crust and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 25 minutes.
