Custard Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, slightly beaten, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 2 1/2 c. scalded milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Thoroughly mix eggs, salt, nutmeg, sugar and vanilla.

Slowly stir in hot milk.

Pour at once into pie shell. Add dash of nutmeg on top of custard before baking.

Bake in hot oven at 475° for 5 minutes.

Reduce heat to 425° and bake 10 minutes longer or until knife inserted comes out clean.
