Custard Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can eagle brand milk, 2 c. hot water, 4 eggs, pinch of salt (optional) and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dilute milk with hot water.
Beat eggs very slightly and add to milk.
Add salt and vanilla.
Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 450Β° for 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
This custard will never get runny or weep if you beat the eggs very slightly.
