Custard Amaretto Cake
Custard Amaretto Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (18 1/2 oz.) yellow cake mix, 1/3 c. cornstarch, 1 c. water, 4 eggs and 1/3 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In large mixing bowl, sift together cake mix and cornstarch. Add water, eggs, oil and vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
Grease and flour pans.
Pour half the batter (3 cups) into 1 pan.
Add cocoa to remaining batter, stirring until blended.
Pour this batter into other pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove and cool on rack.
Freeze layers for 2 hours.
Split each layer in half.
Brush each layer with Amaretto.
Put a chocolate layer on plate and spread with 1/3 custard filling.
Repeat with remaining layers ending with yellow.
Frost with whipped cream.
