Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs; beat.
Add molasses and milk; mix in raisins and mix well.
Sift flour with other dry ingredients and blend this into creamed mixture.
Drop batter using small teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
Bake in 325Β° oven about 10 minutes.
This makes 12 dozen cookies and they keep well in a cookie jar.
