Crusty Cake
Crusty Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. crisco, 2 c. sugar, 6 eggs, 2 c. plus 2 tbsp. plain flour (sifted three times) and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs alternately with flour.
Add salt and vanilla.
Preheat oven to 250°.
Put batter in large tube pan that has been greased and floured.
Put cake in oven and turn temperature to bake at 325°.
Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes without opening oven door.
When done, remove from oven and let stand in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
