Crunch & Creamy Hash Brown Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lbs. shredded hash browns, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 (16 oz.) container of sour cream, 1 stick margarine and 1/2 c. chopped onion (can substitute dried onion, but lessen quantity to 1/8 cup), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl, combine half of margarine (melted), hash browns, sour cream, chicken soup, onions, and a chicken soup can full of milk.
Put in a 9x13 pan, salt and pepper to taste.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Pour other half of melted margarine over crushed cereal and mix; sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
