Crumb Cake Deluxe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 1/3 c. sugar, 2/3 c. margarine, softened, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter and salt until crumbly.
Set aside 1 cup.
Stir baking soda, cinnamon and cloves into the remaining crumb mixture.
Add egg and buttermilk; mix well.
Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
Top with chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the cake tests done.
