Crispy Apple Burritos
Crispy Apple Burritos is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 flour tortillas (room temperature), 2 granny smith apples, chopped, 1/2 c. sugar (more if desired), 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 dash nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix apples, cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg.
Spread each tortilla with butter.
Put heaping tablespoonful of apple mixture onto tortilla, leaving enough room for folding.
Fold ends, then roll. Place one fold in hot grease; deep fry until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled.
