Crisp Toffee Bars
Crisp Toffee Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 c. presifted flour and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Thoroughly cream together butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add flour; mix well.
Stir in chocolate and walnuts.
Press mixture into a 13 x 9-inch ungreased cake pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes just until lightly browned.
While warm, cut in squares, then cool before removing from pan.
Makes about 5 dozen.
They can be cut very small because they are quite rich.
