Crescent Rolls
Crescent Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 c. flour, 2 pkg. yeast, 1 3/4 c. milk, 1/2 c. water and 2 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In large mixing bowl, combine 2 1/2 cups flour and the yeast. In the saucepan, heat milk, water, sugar, salt and Crisco just until warm.
Add to dry ingredients.
Mix for 1/2 minute with mixer.
Scrape down sides of bowl.
Beat 3 minutes on high.
By hand, stir enough flour in to make soft dough.
Turn out on floured surface.
Knead until smooth.
Let rise 20 minutes. Divide dough.
Roll out.
Cut into triangles.
Roll up.
Let rise until double.
Bake at 350Β° until golden brown.
