Creole-Style Soup
Creole-Style Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. beef stew meat, 1 lb. summer sausage, 3 cans tomato sauce or tomatoes, 2 qt. beef broth and 4 cans red beans (not kidney beans), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cut stew meat small; cook in tap water with tenderizer for about 1 hour or until tender.
Add sausage, beef broth, tomato sauce, chopped onions, tomato juice and red beans.
Add seasoning and red pepper to taste.
Continue to cook while adding ingredients.
Add Minute rice slowly to reach desired thickness.
