Creamy Spinach Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook spinach according to package directions.
Drain and squeeze dry.
Combine spinach, cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper; mix well.
Spoon into a greased 1-quart baking dish.
Combine bread crumbs and sage; sprinkle over spinach mixture.
Drizzle remaining 2 tablespoons butter over bread crumbs.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Garnish with egg slices, if desired.
