Creamy Corn Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. finely chopped celery, 1/4 c. finely chopped onion, 1/4 c. finely chopped sweet red pepper, 3 tbsp. butter, divided and 1 10 3/4 oz. condensed cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a skillet, saute celery, onion and red pepper in 2 tbsp. butter until tender.
Remove from the heat; stir in soup, corn, chestnuts and almonds.
Transfer to a 2 qt. baking dish.
Melt remaining butter; toss with bread crumbs.
Sprinkle on top of casserole.
Bake uncovered at 350Β° for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
