Creamed Peas
Creamed Peas is an easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. peas (frozen), 2 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. butter, melted, 1 small can water chestnuts, drained and sliced and 1 tsp. basil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook peas in salted water until done.
Add flour to melted butter; mix until a smooth paste.
Stir flour mixture into peas, stirring until smooth and thick.
Add water chestnuts.
(May substitute drained, sliced mushrooms for chestnuts.)
Add basil. Stir until mixed.
