Cream Pie Filling
Cream Pie Filling is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 3 tbsp. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Blend together half the sugar, flour and salt.
Stir slowly into hot milk and cook until thick.
Add yolks, beaten with remainder of mixture and cook 1 minute longer.
Remove from fire and stir in the butter and vanilla.
When cool, you may add fruit or coconut.
Banana and strawberry are our favorites.
Pour into a baked pie shell.
