Cream Pie
Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 9-inch baked pie shell, 3/4 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, pinch of salt and 2 c. milk or light cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in 2-quart glass bowl. Gradually stir in milk.
Microwave 8 minutes on Cookmatic level 8 or until thickened, stirring twice with wire whisk.
(I stir after 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.)
Stir a little of the hot mixture into egg yolks.
Blend warm yolks into hot mixture.
Microwave 2 minutes longer on "8" or until custard coats a metal spoon, stirring once. Stir in butter and vanilla.
Top with meringue or whipped topping.
