Cream Chicken Tacos
Cream Chicken Tacos is an moderately easy dinner. Made with meat from 1 cooked chicken, cut in large pieces, 1 onion, 2 tbsp. oil, 1 can diced green chilies and 1 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Saute onion in oil.
Add green chilies, broth, sauce, half and half, cheese and chicken.
Line casserole with uncooked tortillas. Alternate sauce and tortillas in layers.
Let stand at least 2 hours before baking to improve flavors.
Bake at 350Β° until heated through.
Freezes very well.
Serves 8 to 10.
