Combine butter and cream cheese and beat until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add flour and mix well.
Add flavoring.
Pour batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Place in a cold oven and set temperature at 325Β°.
Bake about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool 15 minutes in pan before removing.
