Cream Cheese Mints
Cream Cheese Mints is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1/2 c. butter flavor crisco, 1/2 tsp. mint extract, 3 to 3 1/2 c. confectioners sugar and 1 to 3 drops food coloring (any color), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Line baking sheet with wax paper; set aside.
In medium mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, butter Crisco and mint extract.
Beat in confectioners sugar at low speed of electric mixer until mixture is stiff and crumbly.
Add food coloring to mixture (to make mints different colors, divide mixture and tint each part).
Shape by 1/2 teaspoons into balls.
Place on prepared baking sheet.
Using fork tines dipped in confectioners sugar, flatten each candy in crisscross pattern to 1/2-inch thick.
Or, if desired, shape, using mint molds.
Let stand overnight to dry.
Makes 8 to 9 dozen candies.
