Cream Cheese Mints
Cream Cheese Mints is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1/2 tsp. liquid peppermint flavor, 2 to 2 1/2 c. unsifted powdered sugar, food color of your choice and colored or granulated sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese and peppermint flavor until well blended.
Place cream cheese on a large piece of waxed paper.
Gradually work in powdered sugar with your hands until mixture holds together.
Add 3 to 4 drops of food color and work in until evenly tinted.
Make small balls, roll in colored or granulated sugar and flatten with a fork.
Let dry at room temperature.
Store loosely covered in the refrigerator.
Makes 4 to 7 dozen.
