Mix softened cream cheese with egg yolk, sugar and vanilla; set aside.
Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with 1 package crescent rolls. Spread to fit.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over dough. Cover with second package of rolls.
Beat egg white slightly and spread over dough. Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes. When cool, ice with powdered sugar and water.
