Cranberry Surprise Pie
Cranberry Surprise Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. fresh cranberries, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 2 eggs and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In a 10-inch pie plate, spread cranberries. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and pecans; set aside.
In a bowl, beat eggs with electric mixer.
Gradually add remaining cup of sugar.
Beat well. Add butter, shortening and flour alternately to egg mixture.
Mix well.
Pour egg mixture over cranberries.
Bake about 60 minutes or until golden brown.
