Cranberry Pie
Cranberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. fresh cranberries, 2/3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, 2 eggs and 1 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Spread cranberries in a well-greased 10-inch pie plate. Sprinkle cranberries with 2/3 cup sugar and nuts.
In a bowl, beat eggs, adding 1 1/4 cups sugar gradually.
Add flour, butter and shortening and beat well.
Pour mixture over cranberries and bake at 325Β° for 60 minutes.
(Place a cookie sheet under pie plate for leakage.)
Serve warm with ice cream.
