Cranberry Congealed Salad
Cranberry Congealed Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. crushed cranberries, 1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange jello, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. cold water and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine cranberries and sugar and set aside.
Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
Add cold water, lemon juice, cinnamon and allspice.
Chill until thickened.
Fold in cranberries, nuts and orange.
Put in a mold.
Chill 4 hours.
To unmold, place in hot water for a few seconds.
Shake slightly.
Place on chilled platter.
