Cranberry Bread
Cranberry Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, beaten, 2 tbsp. melted butter or margarine, 1/2 c. orange juice, 2 tbsp. hot water and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 325Β°; grease and flour 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
In medium bowl, beat egg, melted shortening, orange juice and water.
Stir in flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Stir until ingredients are moistened.
Stir in cranberries and walnuts.
Pour into prepared loaf pan.
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Store in refrigerator overnight before slicing or freeze.
Makes one loaf.
