Cranberry Bread
Cranberry Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together dry ingredients.
Add orange peel, shortening, egg and orange juice.
Mix quickly, but well.
Add cranberries and nuts.
