Cracker Jacks
Cracker Jacks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 gal. popped corn, 1 c. raw peanuts, 1/2 c. margarine, 1/3 c. karo syrup and 1 c. light brown sugar, packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Boil margarine, syrup and sugar 4 minutes.
Remove from heat; add to syrup mixture 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
Stir well.
Pour over popcorn and nuts in large roasting pan; mix well.
Bake at 250Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes (ovens may vary), stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool and store in covered container.
