Cracker Jacks
Cracker Jacks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 to 8 qt. popped corn, 1 c. butter, 2 c. brown sugar, packed, 1/2 c. light corn syrup and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Use roasting pan for popped corn.
Keep popped corn warm in 250Β° oven.
Mix all ingredients, except soda in large saucepan. Bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add soda.
(Be careful, foams when stirring.)
Stir well and pour over popped corn.
Coat well with large spoon. Return to oven and bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
