Combine all ingredients, except popped corn, into a medium pan. Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes.
Pour over popped corn in a large roasting pan.
Bake at 225Β° for 45 minutes, stirring 2 or 3 times. Cool; break into small pieces as it cools.
Yields 6 quarts.
