Cracker Cake
Cracker Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. rolled saltine crackers, 3/4 c. chopped walnuts, 6 egg whites, 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar.
Beat until stiff in peaks.
Beat in sugar slowly.
Fold in slowly the saltine crackers.
Add walnuts.
Spread into greased jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
When totally cool, spread Cool Whip on top and drop cherry pie filling on top of Cool Whip. Refrigerate cake and serve after it sets.
